What TNCC course options are available?
STS offers a 2-day full course and take time for in-depth discussion on each topic. We also offer a 1-day Renewal option where we discuss selected topics for experienced nurses. For Renewal, your current TNCC certification MUST NOT be expired
Who is the TNCC course designed for, and who can benefit from taking it?
ENA TNCC is designed for RNs who practice in any continuum of trauma patient care, which includes prehospital, flight, ER, and ICU. Non-nurses may audit course for CE, but do not receive 4yr certification.
What are the prerequisites for taking the TNCC course?
Upon course registration, you will receive a link for ENA TNCC pre-course modules. The modules take 3-4hrs to complete and are a mandatory ENA requirement before attending a course.
Do I need to renew my TNCC certification, and if so, how often?
Yes. It is imperative to continuously learn new techniques and patient care considerations. TNCC certification expires after 4 years.
What kind of support and resources will I have access to during the TNCC course?
Following registration, you will receive a welcome email with detailed instructions and additional resources to help guide you to clinical and examination success!
Can I get continuing education credits for completing the TNCC course, and if so, how many?
You will receive 19.5 CEU for the 2-day course option, virtual or in-person. You will receive 13.75 CEU for the 1-day Renewal option, virtual or in-person.
